I didn’t quit blogging and I’m sorry for the long hiatus. I’d been doing pretty good keeping up this online journal for a while but lately my gaming hobby took over my life again. I got amiibo cards to use in Animal Crossing and invite adorable Sanrio themed creatures to come for a camping trip on my digital dollhouse island. Each card unlocked a lot of cute items, and I had to spend time with my switch collecting each one! The most adorable NPCs I’ve ever seen gave me new tasks every day. So any spare moment I find lately, it seems more like time to get on Nintendo switch instead of my Google docs.

I’m ok, I had a lovely time visiting with my dear “child” yesterday (she is an adult lol). We had 4 sushi rolls at Koto and I got boba tea afterwards. She didn’t want any because she had a dentist appointment, though. I gave her a bottle of CBD capsules I bought because it promises “calm” (I’m trying to deal with anxiety myself and still haven’t followed up with the oral surgeon my dentist referred me to weeks ago). We got a 20 minute robot massage and talked for a while. The purple dye in her hair is fading, but it looks cute.
This morning I put my DVDs in a storage closet because they hardly ever get watched anymore, and they really attract dust. Streaming services are what we turn to for entertainment, so it is nice to have an area cleaned of physical media clutter. If the internet goes out or we wish to watch a DVD again they aren’t hard to bring back out. I’ve been through so many changes in technology and abandoned media formats, isn’t it amazing, and wasteful
